| Open Question: Lemon Law and Buying Age in Massachusetts.?

| | The problem is my buddy bought a car for $500 bucks. It is an 01 Saturn SL2 and it only has 83k on the odo. So here are the two actual problems.. When he bought it, he was told that the only problem with it was the fuel pump/filter and it is sold as is with no warranty. He bought the new pump and filter and we put them in last night. We get the car running and sure enough another issue comes out, but this one is that the motor exploded and shot a piston at me, is this where the insurance company would say that it is un-economical to fix and cover what ever costs needed equal to the KBB value of the car? Or would it be considered a Lemon if the private party left out the fact that the motor was complete junk? Also, he is only 17. Is he legal to buy a car with out a parent/guardian? |
| Open Question: My 2009 Lexus IS350 pulls to left.?

| | Car does not pull in morning when car is cold and after driving and car heats up it begins to pull hard to left and more so at freeway speeds, Car has 10k miles on it, has been in 3 times with same problem, alignment, brakes, and steering checks out OK per dealer. Dealer put new tires on front and still pulls. Now Left front tire is showing uneven tire wear after only 9 days since dealers replaced them. Any ideas out there. Lemon law?? Alignment has been check twice by Lexus dealer...it checks out OK. It pulls hard to left after it warms up and more noticable at freeway speeds. Ya its very weird. Thinking this one may fall under cali lemon law if it does get fixed in the next couple of times. | | |  |
