| Open Question: Lemon Law new engine? October 25, 2009 at 6:51 pm |
| | I bought a 99 Pontiac Grand Am 4 months ago.I brought it back under warrenty for 3 issues. One issue was a ticking noise. They fixed the other two issues but said the noise was common in that motor.I noticed noise got louder.I bring it in and again they say not to worry. Now noise has turned into a rapping...they now say the motor needs to be replaced.I think they will do it for zip.I was wondering if they put in a used motor with more liles that the one I had do I have to take it back? My motor had 75 k on it.If it had 100k I would not have bouht the car.So if I now get a 100 k engine do I have to take it? |

| | please help me! I am stucked in a Lemon car , I bought a Nissan/Altima 2005 (as is) a week ago from a dealer in New Orleans/LA , next two days I started to hear wiered sounds from the engine , I took it to the mechanic, did some fixation without any benefit ... he advised to get rid of this car ASAP! I surfed the net to find a Lousiana state law about cars that were bought ( as is ) and what are the dealer obligations regarding this type of contracts ... I couldn't get anything useful I heard that in LA you can return your used car for a full refund within 30 days after buying it , is that apply on as is cars? please help me thanks | | | |
