Open Question: Lemon Law for used car?
November 10, 2009 at 12:47 pm

I bought a 04 bmw 325i 5 months ago from C and J Autocenter in Rahway, NJ. I bought the car from them for $10800.00 with them telling me "its a great car for a great price" I drove the car home and then about a day later the check engine light goes on. I bring it back like 3 times only for them to just replace an air fuel line or something like that and a airbag sensor which ended up still broken anyway. The car had 30 day warranty but after the third time of bringing it back I just started to just dead with the problems until it recently got worse and had to get work done at a repair shop. It costed me 2500 dollars just in repairs and my car is still not running right. Then I heard about the lemon law with returning cars that are not right. Am I in any way still under the lemon law and able to return it, or get money from c and j auto center for the repairs or anything thanks

Open Question: Will my car fail inspection because the ABS light is on?
November 9, 2009 at 7:11 pm

I have a 1996 chevy corsica that I am trying to sell it is in really good condition except that the abs light is on it has been on since I first bought it in 2005 and it hasn't caused any problems or I haven't noticed any problems that may be causing it to turn on. Its always passed inspection for me, but I am not sure if that is because I am a pretty girl, lol! Trust me it has worked with other cars. Anyway. I am just not sure if that will have an affect on inspection and does anyone know the lemon law requirements like inspection, how much, ect. Well any help would be appreciated! Thanks
