| Open Question: Lemon Law doesn't cover? December 5, 2009 at 6:59 pm |
| | Approximately 1 month ago I purchased an as-is used 2000 Nissan Maxima from a car dealer. They told me that the car had recently been checked out by a mechanic. While I test drived, it ran great. But just recently I took it to get its oil changed (it was black), and found problems, and the car doesnt even run the same. The car needs 2 CV Axles, new struts, Catalytic Converter, and a new Idle. There are still a couple more things wrong with it, and the total comes out to about $3,654.73. Is there anything that I could do? |
| Open Question: Lemon Law for personal sellers? December 5, 2009 at 2:01 pm |
| | I just bought an 88 honda civic from a personal owner. The car acted great in his hands but two days after we bought it, the car has stopped working. We haven't even driven it, it sat at the shop waiting for monday to arrive to have the tail-light wiring replaced. We decided to pick it up early before it was even looked at and then just bring it back on monday but it died before than. So, does the lemon law exist for personal owners and sellers, if not, is there a law that covers it? |
